
SUBMISSIONS
This year will be the 25th year that the North Ayrshire Open Art Exhibition will be held in the Racquet Hall at Eglinton Park in North Ayrshire. Over the years thousands of people have exhibited work or visited the exhibitions, participated in associated events and voted for their favourite artwork, so get ready to get involved this year!
You will find a list of key dates below and from 17th April you will be able to apply online.

Our new online app is super easy to use but if you would still prefer to pick up a paper application in person, they will be available from the reception desk at Harbour Arts Centre, Irvine from the 25th of April.
Regardless of how you wish to submit please make sure that you read the rules for a successful submission. These can be found on the new online app and as part of the paper application form. They can also be read and downloaded by clicking this button:
Key Dates
17th April
From this date you will be able to apply online.
25th April
Application forms will also be available to pick up from the Harbour Arts Centre, Irvine. The application form will provide all the details you need to submit your artwork for consideration so please read it carefully.
10th June
Please fill out your application form online, OR return a paper application by hand to the Harbour Arts Centre, Irvine on or before this date.
1st July
All artworks should be delivered by hand to the Racquet Hall, Eglinton Park between the hours of 10.30 - 3pm.
2nd July
Three independent art professionals will select this years successful submissions.
5th July
Check on the Artist List page of this website to find out if your artwork has been successfully accepted into this years exhibition.
6th July
This years prize winners in various categories will be selected by our sponsors. In the weeks that follow our prize winners and their winning artworks will be shown here on the Prize Winners page.
8th July - 22nd July
The exhibition will be open to the public everyday between the hours of 10am - 4pm.
23rd July
All un-exhibited and unsold works must be collected from the Racquet Hall, Eglinton Park between the hours of 12pm - 3pm. Failure to collect your work will result in a handling charge of £25 per artwork per day so please remember to come and get your work!
* Please note that all artworks not selected for the exhibition will remain in safe storage for the duration of the exhibition. It will not be possible to collect or remove any un-selected artwork for the duration of the exhibition.*
